So I've been playing around with SES urls recently (for the urls of this blog), which lead to a newly found love for regular expressions. Unfortunately I was looking for something a little more robust that Coldfusion's ReFind method.ﾠ I wanted something that would return the actual matched string (not just the position and length).

New CFC: FacebookRestClient
So as I said in my second entry, one of the reasons I created this blog was to contribute to the development community. I would like to announce my first open-source contribution to the development world. So please go easy on me. As a facebook user and a developer I thought it would be fun to play with the Facebook API. All you have to do is join facebook (like you aren't already a member!) and sign up for the API. I started playing with the PHP client library and thought this would be pretty easy to do in Coldfusion...

Hello World... so to speak!
So I've finally done it. I've finally joined the Millions of bloggers worldwide. So why did I finally turn? Why did a join the masses? Well you'll have to read below for more. No matter the reason, the journey begins here... I've sat silently, browsing the internet (I can only imagine the number of hours I've spent reading everything from DAOC builds to OOP techniques to Media Center hacks) for to many years.
